Receiving & Giving & Receiving Again

It was November 2018 and we were working day and night to get our new products prototyped and ready for sale.  We wanted a hand-crafted, made in USA wooden part for our patent-pending minimalist Lens Cleaner Kit.  Turns out that a friend of a friend, Russ, is a real craftsman & he wanted a woodworking project.  Perfect. 

But there's more...You see, Russ has a rare disease that is attacking every nerve in his arms and legs, and killing the cells in his spinal column.  He wears braces on both legs just to remain standing. He feels pain constantly.  But Russ made our prototypes, for sure, and beautifully!  When we asked what we could pay him, he said, "Well, you know how you said Guppy Brand would donate profits to help children with facial deformities get the surgeries they need?  Just give my payment to them." 

So Guppy Brand is making our very first donation to Nemours Children's Hospital, before we even have any income from sales. God Bless Russ.  God Bless the Nemours Children's Hospital--their doctors, nurses, staff and of course, the children in need there.  Receiving & Giving & Receiving Again.  Keep it Going!
